Meet Our Staff
Louise has been with OVH since 2003 and is our Clinical Manager. She’s been at OVH longer than any other employee and knows all the clients and their pets! Louise has been in veterinary medicine for 26 years and still enjoys her role as a Veterinary Assistant. She is responsible for teaching new team members the ropes, is dedicated to the success of our team, and has exceptional technical skills and veterinary knowledge. Her favorite thing about OVH is being part of a team that wants to provide the best possible care to the patients and knowing that what we do makes a difference in the lives of pets and their parents.
Louise’s love of animals can be seen in her furry family: a German Shepherd (Shenzi), a Boxer (Lola), 2 Beagles (Banjo and Bilbo), and 3 cats (Taz, Taylor, and Turmeric). Her hobbies include reading, cross-stitching, camping and fishing – but who has time for hobbies when raising a young son?
Since joining OVH in 2008, Crystal has become an integral part of the team and wears many hats. She is an Assistant, our Inventory Manager, assists the Veterinary Assistant with surgical procedures and can also fill in as a Receptionist. The team relies on her extensive knowledge of our in-house laboratory equipment and computer troubleshooting skills to keep things running smoothly. She most enjoys working with pets and running lab work.
Crystal shares her home with a husband, 2 children and 2 dachshunds; Dusty Dude and Jeter. She enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and loves pottery and painting.
Since 2015, Erin has brought her energy and resilience to the OVH team. She began as an Assistant and has become a dependable Veterinary Assistant. Erin is warm and welcoming to clients and their pets. She loves being able to learn new things every day and providing education to clients to help their pets live happier, healthier lives.
Erin has a Doberman (Ace), a Beagle (Khloe), a cat (Simba) and horses (Camden and Daisy). She enjoys horseback riding and teaching children about the wonders of horses.
Although Danielle has only been with our team since April, she came to us with 18 years of experience in the veterinary field. She’s a Veterinary Assistant and is very passionate about animal care. She also assists the doctors with surgery and COHAT procedures.
Her favorite part of working at a veterinary hospital? Providing comfort to pets and their owners during their visits. Danielle has brought us some great new ideas on how to improve the flow of the hospital and reduce client wait times.
Danielle’s pets include a German Shepherd (Storm), a retired K9 Malinois (Boo), and the boss – a cat named Boris. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.
Melissa joined the OVH team in 2014 with 3 years of previous veterinary industry experience. You may not see her often as she’s generally assisting the doctors with surgical and COHAT procedures. She has extensive veterinary medical knowledge does a great job teaching that knowledge to the rest of the team. Melissa loves working in the veterinary field because it allows her to learn and grow every day since medicine is ever changing.
Melissa’s pets: 4 cats (DB, Murgatron, Murgatroid, Toulouse), a mixed breed dog (Novacaine), and 2 rats (Sirius and Peter Pettigrew). Her hobbies include reading, movies, and theater.
Jenna’s upbeat attitude has been gracing OVH since 2014. Currently an Assistant, Jenna is always positive and focused on her work. She started as a Kennel Assistant and she’s now doing a wonderful job learning how to be a Room Assistant! Always flexible, Jenna can also fill in as a Receptionist and assist the Veterinary assistant with surgery when needed. She enjoys the hospital environment, working with the pets, and staying busy all day.
Jenna lives with her husband and daughter as well as their Pit Bull Pickle.
Geoffrey has re-joined our team a few times since he originally began in 2010 as a Kennel Assistant. He is now our primary Assistant to the Veterinary Assistant in surgery and COHAT procedures and continues to impress us with his scope of knowledge regarding veterinary medical care. Geoffrey is a great team player who is always willing to help others and is very skilled at time management. We frequently wonder how he’s able to get so many things done in one day! Geoffrey works in the veterinary field because he enjoys learning the medicine and finds fulfillment in caring for animals.
Geoffrey shares his love of animals with his parents’ pets and with animals which he pet-sits. He enjoys volunteering in his spare time.
Sharon has become a versatile member of our team since she began in 2016. She began her journey as a Kennel Assistant and has moved up into an Assistant role. She also regularly fills in as a Receptionist. Sharon is a great advocate for pets and enjoys caring for them.
